We designed the Women’s Cycling Tour so that our riders can all enjoy a few more of the sights and surrounds and it is suited to those who probably don’t want to ride big distances and descend big mountains at crazy speeds. With this in mind, we’ve decided to provide the ladies with their own tour, as we understand it is challenging sometimes to find that balance with mixed groups.
Our first Women’s Cycling Tour in 2018 was a huge success! The ladies had a fantastic time both on and off the bike. The off bike experiences include participation in a traditional green tea ceremony, taiko drumming experience, a guided tour of the Matsumoto Castle and much more.
The Women’s cycling tour will no doubt be a challenge, but what better than to share this amazing cycling experience with a group of friends who are just as passionate about cycling as you are.
Ride with us on this exclusive tour as we delve deep into the vibrant Japan culture and tackle some of the best, yet mostly undiscovered cycling in the world. After gathering in Nagano, we will travel deep into the Mountains surrounding this ancient and majestic region. The contrast will amaze, as will the next 7 days of cycling that lay head as we visit hot springs, visit ancient shrines and temples and taste delicious local produce.
The tour also includes entry into the Azumino Alps Century Ride, one of Japan’s great GranFondo which takes riders on a stunning course through the alps. Contact us today for more details. Website http://aacr.jp/ (Japanese Only)
With breathtaking scenery, challenging riding and plenty of off-bike experiences to enjoy as well, the stage is set for a uniquely rewarding cycling holiday – one you and your legs will remember for a long time to come.
Join RideJapan on the Women’s Specific Cycling Tour tour that covers the central alpine region of Japan. This is Women’s exclusive tour and we aim to strike a balance between time on and off the bike. The tour schedule allows ample time to stop and enjoy the sights along the route. No pressure, we roll with you. Obviously, this is Japan and to access some of these special places requires a few key cycling skills, but don’t worry we are here to guide you all the way.
We are also very proud to have a partnership with the AACR that allows our tour to participate in this incredible event. Now in its 11th year, the AACR is one of the leading Gran Fondo long ride in Japan and we are excited to join this event with the other cyclists. Let’s enjoy Cycling Paradise Nagano together.
